Looking for an Internship?

Here at TOPS we love providing opportunities to students to further their career goals through learning a variety of practical clinical skills. You get to learn from a variety of clinicians, including a fellow trained PT (FAAOMPT), an athletic trainer, and many more!

We accept students going to graduate school for Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Athletic Training and undergraduate students looking for experience.

Grad Students

Students will get experience with:

  • Manual - will include soft tissue, ASTYM, Spinal & Extremity Manipulation, Dry Needling
  • Patient Evaluations - will include measurements, assessment, SOAP
  • Exercise Program Design - will include designing program, progressions

Undergrad Students

Students will get experience with:

  • Interacting with Patients - will include checking in with patient and conversing /engaging with them
  • Giving Exercise Instructions - will include teaching patients their exercises, correcting form, progressions
  • PT Tech Duties - will include cleaning equipment, laundry, managing patient flowsheets

The TOPS Dress Code

  • Athletic professional attire/ Dri-Fit (plain t-shirt or polo and shorts/pants) with minimal or no jewelry
  • Comfortable clean athletic shoes
  • NO cotton material shirts, no big logo on shirts (including school names etc), and no tight fit
  • All tattoos must be covered
  • Facial hair is accepted, but must be well groomed
  • Any jewelry must be kept to a minimum (no facial piercing)
